Please read these terms carefully before using Credibee's testimonial collection services.
Welcome to Credibee! By using our platform, you're agreeing to these terms. We've built a testimonial collection tool specifically for freelancers, consultants, and solo business owners who want to gather and showcase client feedback.
Here's what you need to know upfront: you must get proper consent before collecting testimonials, all testimonials need to be genuine (no fake reviews!), you're responsible for following privacy laws, and we handle payments through Paddle.com with secure authentication via Clerk.
When you sign up for Credibee, you're agreeing to these Terms & Conditions. If something here doesn't sit right with you, unfortunately you won't be able to use our service. These terms apply to everyone who uses Credibee - both the freelancers collecting testimonials and the clients providing them.
Just so we're clear: you need to be at least 18 years old to use Credibee. If you're younger, you'll need a parent or guardian involved.
Credibee is designed specifically for individual professionals, freelancers, and solo entrepreneurs who want to collect and manage client testimonials. With our platform, you can:
We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue features as we improve the platform. Don't worry - we'll give you reasonable notice if we're making any major changes.
Getting started with Credibee is simple. You'll create an account through our authentication provider, Clerk. You can either register directly with your email or use Google OAuth to sign in with your Google account - whatever's easier for you.
When you create your account, we need you to:
By creating an account, you're also agreeing to Clerk's terms and privacy policy. If you choose Google OAuth, you're agreeing to Google's terms too. We use Clerk because they provide excellent security features, and we recommend enabling two-factor authentication when it's available.
This is the important part: as someone collecting testimonials, you're responsible for doing it right. You must:
For those providing testimonials, when you submit feedback through Credibee, you're:
If a business won't remove your testimonial when you ask, you can contact us at devbrent03@gmail.com and we'll help resolve the issue.
You also need to stay compliant with advertising standards. This means:
Let's be clear about what's not okay:
On the technical side:
Obviously:
We take your privacy seriously. Our separate Privacy Policy explains exactly how we collect, use, and protect your information - please read it.
Since you're collecting personal data through testimonials, you need to understand your responsibilities. If you have clients in Europe, you'll need to comply with GDPR requirements like getting proper consent, providing clear privacy notices, and honoring people's rights to access or delete their data. For Philippine operations, you'll need to follow the Data Privacy Act, which includes getting valid consent and implementing proper security measures.
The bottom line:
We'll keep your account data for as long as you're a subscriber, plus 90 days after you close your account (unless you want it deleted sooner or we're required to keep it longer by law).
Credibee offers a Free Plan with basic features and a Pro Plan for $3 USD per month with advanced features and customization options. All payments go through Paddle.com, who acts as our payment processor and merchant of record. When you subscribe, you're agreeing to Paddle's terms and privacy policy too.
Here's how billing works:
We might change our pricing, but we'll give you 30 days' notice via email, and existing subscribers keep their current rate until their next renewal.
If a payment fails, you'll get an immediate email notification. Paddle gives you a full 30-day grace period where they'll automatically try to collect payment. If that doesn't work out, we might suspend your service, and eventually terminate your account if the issue isn't resolved.
You're responsible for any taxes or fees your local jurisdiction requires. For billing issues or refund requests, contact devbrent03@gmail.com or reach out to Paddle directly. We offer a 7-day refund policy for new subscribers who cancel within their first week.
We own Credibee - the platform, its design, functionality, and all the underlying technology. This is all protected by intellectual property laws. You can't copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer our platform, and please don't use our trademarks without permission.
That said, you own your business data and testimonial content. When you use Credibee, you're giving us permission to store and process your content to provide our service, display testimonials through our platform and widgets, and use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our service. Make sure you have the right to use any third-party content (like logos or images) that you upload to Credibee.
We work hard to keep Credibee running smoothly, but we can't promise 100% uptime. Sometimes we need to perform maintenance (we'll give you advance notice when possible), handle emergency updates, or deal with third-party service interruptions.
We reserve the right to modify features, update these terms (with 30 days' notice for major changes), add new functionality, and update our underlying technology. We'll give you at least 24 hours' notice for any planned maintenance that might affect your service.
Credibee is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't make any warranties about the service being perfect, uninterrupted, or completely error-free. We can't guarantee that all defects will be fixed or that the service will always meet your specific needs.
To the maximum extent allowed by Philippine law, we won't be liable for any indirect damages like lost profits, lost data, or business opportunities. Our total liability to you won't exceed what you've paid us in the past 12 months, or PHP 5,000, whichever is higher.
This doesn't apply if we're grossly negligent, if someone gets hurt due to our negligence, if we commit fraud, or in other cases where Philippine law doesn't allow us to limit liability.
If you use Credibee in a way that gets us into legal trouble, you agree to cover our legal costs and any damages. This includes situations where you violate these terms, break laws while using our service, violate someone else's rights, or collect and display false or misleading testimonials.
You can cancel your Credibee account anytime by:
We might need to suspend or terminate your account if you:
When an account ends:
Make sure to export your testimonial data before closing your account if you want to keep it.
These terms are governed by Philippine law, and any disputes will be handled in Philippine courts. Before heading to court, though, we encourage trying to work things out by talking to our support team, using mediation, or arbitration for larger disputes (over PHP 100,000).
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce something once, that doesn't mean we've given up the right to enforce it later. We can transfer our rights and obligations to someone else, but you can't without our written permission.
We're not responsible if we can't provide the service due to things beyond our control like natural disasters, wars, or government actions. We may update these terms occasionally - if it's a major change, we'll email you 30 days in advance. Keep using Credibee after changes take effect, and you're agreeing to the new terms.
For any questions, issues, or support needs, email us at devbrent03@gmail.com. We're Credibee, operated under Solerix, and we're based in the Philippines. Our support hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Philippine Time. For urgent issues, put "URGENT" in your email subject line and we'll get back to you as quickly as possible.
